Who else but THE King!
With more zombies finished and P.I.G.S. “newb” Nick, wanting to try out a game of “Last Days” it seemed fitting that the first game at Guru’s since lock down should involve ZOMBIES!
As an ease into the system I chose a co-operative game using the additional “Seasons” rules with a simple “Rescue the king” scenario.
I also wanted to use an introductory game and designed new groups of survivors for each player. Dave and I now have very experienced gangs and our combined character levels would have made it difficult for Nick with a brand new gang to cope with the number of zombies clambering over him.
The teams:

Nick’s ex soldier team with a leader a Sergeant and two soldiers.

The “THUGS” of Dave K

Guru’s Mystery Inc Team of Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, Mr. E, and of course Scooby.
The city terrain “in the ghetto” we are trying to rescue the King out of:

TURN 1:

“Its now or never” to clear Zombies away from “The King”

“A little less conversation” as Mystery Inc. close in on the Police Station to attempt the rescue.

“Fools rush in” as Buggsy’s Gang trying to enter through the rear door of the Police Station

The SWAT Team position themselves “on the edge of reality” to use their firepower to clean out the roof top.
TURN 2:

“Don’t be cruel” Jeannie!

Mr E is “lonesome tonight” and shooting from the top of the subway across the road to the Police Station while Shaggy is “catching on fast” and lures Zombies away from the action.
TURN 3:

Jeannie takes on more Zombies and becomes “All shook up”

“Soldier Boy” shooting across the road to the Police Station.
TURN 4:

Elvis has a “suspicious mind” because the “Jailhouse is a rocking“

The zombies have “lost that loving feeling”

“Beginners luck” as a sole zombie survives.

The King is rescued and has left the building

“He ain’t nothing but a hound dog” but Scooby sure gets rid of Zombies.

“From a jack to a king” as the rescue is completed
Brilliant! 🙂
Everyone is always wondering where Elvis went to, now we know ! I wonder if Jeannie is looking for Darren!!
Very cool indeed
