These models have been around in the “cave” for well over twenty years and have finally been completed.
The Everqueen is one of the two joint rulers of the High Elves, seen by them as the symbol and incarnation of their mother-goddes Isha.
Unlike the Phoenix King, the Everqueen is always the Queen of Avelorn. She and the Phoenix King are the rulers of Ulthuan. The court of the Everqueen lies deep in the forests of Avelorn although she is ritually crowned at the Shrine of the Earth mother on the Isle of Rebirth to the north of the Isle of the Dead in the Inner Sea.

Each Everqueen is attended upon and guarded by the Handmaidens of the Everqueen, also known as the Maiden Guard.
Very nice, I have one of those handmaidens, and painted it up years ago, but never knew that’s what she was! I just thought she was a nice mini I picked up in a GW sale years ago!

Thanks Roger. I have had these for a long, long time and just got around to them now. They were bought new for around tuppence halfpenny when GW stuff was affordable, and until recently were still mint in their box.

Nice Elves mate! though I’m not sure if they would have fitted in well on my recent show, then again I feel she might have given the Orcs a run for their money!!
She was a larger than life figure in GW Eleven history but at an heroic 28mm scale probably a bit too larger than life for your impressive diorama!
