There was a Marvel figure it was said;
That traveled with the speed of stale bread;
His name was the hulk;
But despite his great bulk;
Arrived with no back of his head!

To quote Kenneth Williams’ great pun in that classic piece of source material “Carry on Cleo” this describes my initial thoughts on this saga:
“Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in-for-me”

But that has all changed!
A full refund has been made;
They were easy to persuade;
The new Hulk is now here;
With great merriment and cheer;
And once built will be ready to raid!
Here begins Guru’s lesson – “deal with people you know and trust and you won’t be disappointed” .
The new Hulk has arrived from Dave’s Games with a minimum of fuss and time. My faith is now restored!
I just have to work out how I am going to convert/paint the first one without the back of his head into a “zombie Hulk” for Dave Stone’s “Apocalypse Me” challenge!
This is not a silly as it sounds because in an alternate reality known as Earth-2149 all super-powered beings became infected by an extraterrestrial virus which transformed them into Zombies.

Unlike most incarnations of the Incredible Hulk, who are mostly aggressive, but good in nature, this zombified version of the green giant is even more of a rampaging beast who becomes eager to eat human flesh.
I can see a “good” Hulk versus the zombified Hulk scenario coming on!
Pleased you’ve got the new Hulk! 🙂 You could buy some of the clever rubbery type mould material (can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called) and use the new head to make a mould that you could then use to cast an even newer head out of greenstuff! That all sounds a bit too clever for me, so I’d probably have a go with milliput (and more than likely fail miserably)!
Silicone is the mold making rubber, then you can use green stuff or simple epoxy resin!
Thanks Eric and John. I think I will just have a go with some “green stuff”.
I think you’re thinking of “Blue stuff” John 😉
Great news on the hulk saga Dave, and what a great idea to turn the second one into a zombie hulk. Depending on your idea for him would make the the decision on what advice to give. Are you going for exposed cranium, exposed brain, just clumps of hair missing ?
Not sure yet. He is a few projects away so I have a bit of time to mull it over.
Really looking forward to seeing what you do with a zombie hulk.
Cheers,
Pete.
Ahh all sorted now Cheers Roger.
F…mate! dont you just miss the Carry on days!!
Ummm. Not really!
