Some brand new shiny stuff has arrived.
First from Pendraken a whole lot of assorted bases I needed for some outstanding projects.

Secondly some gaming pieces for a terrain idea that I have had for a long time and intend to include as part of my “Infinity” terrain project, but it’s a secret!

The next is the last of my “Modern” figure purchases. These are from Empress Miniatures and will be used for the final group of 13 mercenaries.

The final lot is the Baron’s War Kickstarter from Footsore miniatures. I only chose the figures I was interested in as I had enough standard Medieval knights and foot, the rules and some of the figures were part of the Kickstarter and provided as “stretch” goals. The figures worked out at abound 1 pound Stirling each which is not bad these days for Footsore quality figures.

The Campaign book looks interesting.
The figures include:
- Robin Hood and Friar Tuck;
- Little John and Will Scarlet;
- Maid Marian;
- The priest of St Oswald mounted and dismounted;
- Bishop of York;
- 16 Villagers;
- Outlaw commander;
- Outlaw slingers;
- Poacher and Gamekeeper;
- Outlawed Noble;
- 4 Outlaw miniatures;
- Falconer,
- and the Death and Taxes campaign book (Baron’s War rules required to use).
This is a great lot of Early Medieval skirmish figures that I am very pleased with.
I do not plan on finishing/using any of these in the near future, but who knows?
A wide variety in your delivery Dave, with some very intriguing bits !
Thanks Dave. They will be a while off being done but I am looking forward to the Empress assortment of guys.
A nice haul there
Thanks. I am not normally a fan of figure manufacturers that use Kickstarter for all of their new ranges, but I have been wanting some good Robin Hood figures for a while so succumbed!
Some nice figures there.
Cheers,
Pete.
Yep Chetin mercenaries in Sherwood Forest!
Oooo Robin Hood is something I’ve had a hankering to do myself for many a year, so will be watching these with interest!
Oh and if you want to see some Footsore mini’s painted to sickeningly high standards follow the link to Dave (The Imperfect Modellers) blog below…..
