I knew theoretically that patting, hugging, or otherwise touching a loving animal can rapidly calm and soothe you when you’re stressed or anxious but had never experienced it. I had a very frenetic week full of hassle and “ship”!

My little “tiger” Lulu (you will have to be a geriatric like myself to understand that reference) must have sensed this and jumped on me when I was stretched out trying to relax in front of the TV.
Snuggling in and purring she totally gelled me out!
Now I have owned cats long enough to know that the selfish bitch was probably cold and just wanted my body heat……..but hey it worked. Guru is now gelled out!
Amazing how pets can tell, even if for selfish reasons, and help relieve the stress.
Sounds like a good result for all involved! 🙂
Excellent- I’ve certainly been much happier since I’ve had my teo furry rescues come and stay.
Cheers,
Pete.
What a pretty like girl, such a cheeky face too, Even I had to follow the link to that Lulu song (It came out a year before even I was born!), the annoying thing is she (Lulu) looks younger than I do now!! 😁
Cheers Roger.
Thanks Roger you make me feel young……NOT! Her cheeky looks hide that schizophrenic temperament that all felines seem to have. Ahhhh how dare you scratch me ………with a purr!
