“Robert Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, is a major antagonist in Marvel Zombies, which takes place in an alternate version of the Marvel Universe, called Earth-2149, where all super-powered beings became infected by an extraterrestrial virus which transformed them into Zombies.

Alike the other Marvel superheroes, the Hulk ended up becoming infected with the zombie virus in an alternate reality known as Earth-2149. Unlike most incarnations of the Incredible Hulk, who are mostly aggressive, but good in nature, this zombified version of the green giant is even more of a rampaging beast who becomes eager to eat human flesh (definitely much worse than his Ultimate Marvel counterpart).” Fandom

THE TRANSFORMATION

The Finished Zulk

To get and idea of the size:

Normal 28mm toxic zombie on the right, followed by Toxic Fattie, Toxic Abomination and the ZULK himself.
The issues with the head ended up being a bonus as I dipped my toe in the green stuff water and am keen to learn and develop these additional skills. Special thanks to Dave, Pete, Eric and countless others for your encouragement, help, and advice of the last few weeks. I hope the outcome has been worth the ride for you as well!
Great result on your Zulk Dave, keep pushing the new skills, and don’t be afraid to experiment.
Thanks Dave. It is something that I am keen to keep on trying.
Wow, he’s a beast – I hadn’t realised quite how big he was until I saw the group shot at the end. Great work!
Thanks this was a project that will inspire other projects.
Holy Moly! I love that alternate Hulk! The wounds, the spikes the “puss blisters”, all of that hand-sculpting, awesome! And thanks for the shout out, glad I could inspire!
So what are your plans for Zulk? Run him as a massive Abomination in Zombicide or have a super unique MCP Hero??
No plans yet, but I can see him as a villain in a lot of our Post Apocalyptic games. For the moment he is just eye candy on the shelf!
He’s brilliant, Dave! 🙂 I hadn’t realised he was such a big’un either!
The size made it a good model to start to learning to use green stuff with.
He is a whopper!
Cheers Roger.
Certainly is.
Congrats on pulling off your vision of the Zulk – and it definitely works. And he’s huuuuge!
Thanks Mark. As a result of your Aztec project I bought an “Egyptian rolling pin” and it worked a treat. A blog will follow in due course. For the trial piece I just used “green stuff” as the medium but will purchase a suitable modelling clay down the track for my Egyptian terrain. Thanks for the inspiration.
