Gangs of cannibalistic mutants who carve out small kingdoms in the Underhive with the use of scalies, plague zombies, ghouls and Giant rats as well as ‘normal’ Scavvies and ‘mutant’ scavvies. All Scavvies are mutants, and the only real thing that differentiates between ‘normal’ and ‘mutant’ Scavvies is that the mutations that mutant Scavvies possess are often beneficial in some way. Often utilizing only the most basic of weapons, Autoguns and Shotguns can be considered the pinnacle of Scavvie weaponry.

Due to their lack of effective armaments they often rely on numbers and attrition to win battles. In an environment where life on the whole is cheap for a normal hive denizen, it is many times worse of your average scavvy. In lean times a particularly luckless scavvy may find himself the main course for the rest of the gang, due to their cannibalistic nature. Rival gang members captured by the Scavvies also tend to share this grizzly fate.

Necromunda Scavvy Gang

Necromunda Scavvies
Scavvies make up the bulk of a Scavvy gang (must be at least half) surprise surprise!

Plague Zombies
Plague zombies shuffle around the underhive, but they do carry the zombie plague which can effect any opposing gang member they wound in close combat. Plague zombie are not part of a scavvy gang but can be attracted to fight with food, but disappear after the fight to devour their “prize”.

Mutant with extra arm

Mutant with spikes, claw and extra arm
Scavvies are often mutated by dreadful living conditions. Most are just simply horrible but occasionally one comes about that is quite useful. In this case the claw adds strength to close combat attacks, spikes increases armour saves, and the additional arm allows the scavvy to carry another weapon.

Necromunda Scalies
Scalies are rarely seen creatures but abound in the underhive. They are intelligent but seldom speak. The scalies tough skin provides an additional asrmour save, they cause fear and can regenerate lost limbs which enables them to recover from any wound on the D6 roll of a 6.

Scavvy Boss
A scavvy boss commands fear and respect from his followers and his leadership can be used by those in close proximity to him.

These are great! 🙂 I really like the Scalies!
Their size is quite impressive. Not quite that pf an ogre but getting there. I need to re-base them on larger bases as they are a bit top heavy.
Very cool! I’ve always had a softspot for the skavies, they’re one of the gangs I really wish they’d bring back with a new kit, although the old ones still hold up well (as these ones of yours demonstrate!).
The figures are very all purpose across a number of games systems. Not likely to play Necromunda but I can see them fitting in Zona Alpha quite well.
These are great, a real trip down memory lane, the Scalies are the best though!
Cheers Roger.
I agree, but don’t ya just luv that lane!
Great work on all Dave, I remember when the lost and damned list for Chaos came out, people used a lot of these models in the lists, including me ! LOL
Those are fantastic. I’ve still got some of the metals around somewhere….
Cheers,
Pete.
