Hi Guys I am after some feedback, comments or suggestions. I have this Original Airfix ACW set in mint condition. The box is perfect, the figures are still on their sprues and even the original brochure is there.
I have been fluffing around for about twelve months trying to decide. I have enough artillery already painted so my gut feel is to keep it as is.
without a project in mind, there is no harm in moving onto a different part of your “pile of opportunity”
Keep it like it is, give Airfix a shout and let them know you still have it.
I still have the Guardsmen set in their box
I remember those boxes well and used to love ’em! 🙂 I’d be inclined to keep them for their nostalgia value (but if I had to use them I would)!

Definitely keep as is Dave. Between us we’ve more than enough 20mm ACW to do any action. As a keepsake from Airfix’s glory days I think you should have it proudly on display.
eh, if you don’t have a project in mind, listed on eBay, someone might just need these guys to complete what they have been looking for. I know I have sold off several old sprues of GW stuff to folks who could use them, it felt better than having them sit in a box, especially since I knew I’d never paint nor use them.
Keep it or sell it mate, I just checked out The 1/72 Depot scale models data base and there are two that are up for a bid . The one you have has a starting bid price of 38. aud and one with the different box art is going for 80. odd Aud plus postage!!
