This is the first of three posts on a small project that has been planned for a while. Each post is on quite different models but together form a coherent whole.

The stone Jetty with Steps SKU: 3515 is sold separately or the four pieces together for a reduced price.

This is a great resin casting with absolutely NO flashing to remove. After washing I was able to paint it straight from the box.

This set contains one of each parts of the jetty.

It is a bit pricey at twenty pounds but is quite sizeable and with the devaluation of the English currency is reasonable value for Australians at the moment.

Having put it together I now realise that I need three more straight pieces and another set of steps which will set me back another twenty four pounds.

Tomorrow part two of the project.
Looking good David.
Thanks Steve. how is the back?
Yep looks good buy I want to see the final form with the additional sections now! 😄
*but
Ah a but I see. So you don’t!
Will order next pay and will have to wait for them to cast them and send them out…….so at least a month!
So you have a time machine?
Great paint job on this! A cool addition to the terrain.
Thanks. Really done for more British seaside village for VBCW but still looked cool in my Gotham City Port.
Ainsty do some lovely stuff.
Cheers Roger.
Lovely and the range of topics it covers is quite broad as well.
Great work on the Jetty Dave, shame you didn’t know you needed more bits when you first ordered it.
Yes it was frustrating, but as I hadn’t ordered any of their products before I was a bit cautious and was not sure how large it might actually be, but it is ideal for VBCW.
I do like the Ainsty stuff.
Our loss is your gain too by the look of it.
Cheers,
Pete.
Ainsty stuff is great. There was almost no flash and the detail is superb.
