The Jungle Patrol

After the first Phantom defeated the sea pirates he became their leader and his first orders were that Redbeard (the pirate leader) should pick out 100 loyal men, to help imprison the other pirates. The plan succeeded, and the reformed pirates became the foundation force for the Jungle Patrol.

The Phantom was always the leader of the patrol, though from the beginning he was known to the patrolmen, which he is not now. The patrol has been led by The Unknown Commander for the last 150 years. The motto of the patrol is “Stamus Contra Malum” or “We stand against evil”.

The first female recruit was Diana Palmer-Walker, who was accepted despite Colonel Worubu’s reluctance. Although Diana Palmer-Walker is a non-commissioned officer of the patrol, no women were normally admitted until Hawa Aguda and Kay Molloy.

Colonel Worubu is currently the deputy head of the Jungle Patrol. Jonathan Worubu grew up with his twin brother Benjamin, but while Jonathan chose law enforcement and became colonel of the Jungle Patrol, Benjamin chose a life of crime. He also has a sister, Wendy Ariba.

I chose these Eureka Miniatures figures to do as the Jungle patrol. A unit of ten and a leader would be more than enough to assist the “Ghost Who Walks”.

I have had them for a while and it only now that I have had the motivation to get them finished.

I have painted them up to be used in the Third Afghan war as well.

There are ten grunts including a Lewis Gunner plus an officer.

Catching up with their leader and Dianna Palmer-Walker.
