A Peculiar Parcel

When I came home from the Post Office today I couldn’t understand why the cats were all over me. Then I realised that the box they were looking at was a Purina Felix Original With Chicken, Fish and Beef sachets inside!

Well not quite but there was certainly beef, chicken and fish awaiting the drooling cats.

The parcel had travelled all the way from the Shetland Isles and for some reason was able to get through all livestock and import rules without a hitch. A whole pile of figures had been sent to me from Maenoferren and it “wasted” a good half hour of my time as I sorted through. You can forget the cats I WAS DROOLING!

Thanks Maenoferren for the parcel it was much appreciated and is all very useful.

There was even Pork and Bacon, Lamb, Goat and some puppy dogs (large and small)!

A fox and a bunny rabbit. Sorry about the pic but these are great figures and am really looking forward to painting them.

Whoda thought Guru would be given zombies!

Ghoulish types with great six packs. My six pack was made the hard way with two threes!

A bird man and another ghoulish type.

The Anderson College, Lerwick’s Prom King and Queen!

The pièce de résistance is the Elk Skeleton. Maenoferren has posted on this model before but I couldn’t find it on his site. Some great items to paint.

  1. Looking at the photos, I did indeed put a boar in instead of a bear and seem to have forgotten the Vampire. Not sure what I did with him.
My thinking was… as you were getting into Silver Bayonet I put in useful things to be the occult Basie’s. The farm animal were set dressing and the anthropomorphic stuff… just because they looked good. Oh and the elk because you said it looked great 😊
