The U.S., Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain, Australia, Finland, and the Soviet Union all used flamethrowers during WW2. Greece did not.

Even if a number of the Italian Lanciafiamme Spalleggiato Modello 35, also known as Model 35, were captured in the 1941 Greco-Italian War, the chemicals would have been difficult to source in a timely manner.

You will note that the Italian version pictured above is the flame thrower depicted on the model.

Why paint this one? Well, simply because it was in the batch of figures I purchased!

It was there …………so there!

It may get a run in some “Weird War” games. Drats, I should have painted the figures up as zombies!
