The gaming community in Thailand is thriving which was a surprise to me with the popular games systems of 40k, Warhammer Fantasy and Bolt Action being much the same price as in Australia. With the average wage in Bangkok of 43,000THB ($AU 1,720) to 115,000THB ($AU 4,600) wargaming is beyond the capacity of most Thais.
There is also a large expat gaming population with the DBM range of games being the most popular.

Don’t worry gamers you can certainly get your fix whilst holidaying in Thailand. Talking about fixes “weed” is legal in Thailand with shops everywhere!

It was part holiday, part gaming and part business. I now have someone translating mu rules into Thai, a printer to produce some of the card games I am working on and a painter for when I am too busy to paint! I have one more “gaming’ post on the Bolt Action tournament I attended, but the rest are all holiday……………………………yes! Really!
