These pics are for “imperialrebelork” who wanted some info on the police cars I used in the last blog.
The police cars (4) I bought on ebay. They are 1/42 scale “Kinsmart” Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors that I picked up from Ebay seller rawrmax (15628) for $7.39 US each.
The rest are all 1/43 scale vehicles picked up from Aldi supermarkets, some for $4.95 and some for $9.95 and are all from Welly.
A 1963 Volkswagen combi bus, caravan and a Ford Mustang GT
A yellow Lexus LF-A, Bentley Continental GT3 and a Hummer H3
An Audi Q7 towing a boat, a Porsche 918 Spyder, and another Audi Q7
Another Audi Q7 towing a racing car, and a Volvo XC90 towing a helicopter
An Audi A7 towing a horse float.
The vehicles have yet to be dirtied up to make them suitable for post-apocalyptic/Batman games. I don’t think I will have to “smash em up” for scenery as with copious quantities of “dirt”, a few scratches, and turning them on their side or upside down with a door open should do the trick.
I am after an ambulance, fire truck, and taxi to complete the collection. I have a plastic toy rubbish truck to be painted up.
With regards to scale you can see form the photos with the “big whimp” (oops did I say that out loud – go Copplepot!!) that 1/43 scale is OK. It is a bit larger than the 1/56 scale of 28mm figures but close enough for me.

Nope. Gotham Police Department have severe budget cuts so they have moved from individual car numbers to the number of the precinct which has reduced costs to enable the purchase of more donuts. And if you believe that…….
