Last night new PIGS inductee showed us his “brand new” acquisition Necromunda!

Hmmm I thought………….. I think I have seen that before:

These are the original plastic Goliath Gang miniatures, that came with the box set, with some very crude conversions ( I am a little better at that these days) painted up as my original Catachan squad because at the time I couldn’t afford the new Catachan metal box – remember when GW figures actually had some weight about them and I am not talking about the price here!!

Metal Cawdor Gang

Redemptionist Gang

These were one of my favourites as they had the type of skill traits I liked playing with.

Another all-time favourite that you can easily see by the numbers was my Delaque gang (again with some crude conversions).

Bounty hunters and thugs etc. to add that additional bite to your gang.

Adding a Ratskin scout to your gang was a great help. Here is a whole gang of them.

Whilst technically a Mordheim gang I used these Sigmarite Sisters as my SOS gang – the Sisters Of Spite.
Now all of this mob was painted back in the dim dark ages when you had to grind up various ochres into powder and you backdrop painting was on the cave wall so they are not a wonderful job. But the good news is there are plenty more where they came from:

More Ratskins, Delaque, Redemptionists, Cawdor, Orlocks and Metal Goliaths, plus Spyrers, Scavvy, Pit Slaves, Wyrds, and not pictured, cos I couldn’t find em, Van Saar and Escher gangs. But wait there is more:

I just loved the Necromunda and Gang Wars magazines. Pity they lasted only a little over a year.
In the words of Peter Allen:
“Don’t throw the pa-ast away
You might need it some rainy day
Dreams can come true again
When everything old is new again.”
