Well, actually, quite a lot but more on that later.
In 1988 Aly Morrison designed the Legion MkVI Corvus Armoured Space Marines. As I indicated in a recent blog “An eclectic week of goodies and surprises” my wife brought back a car load of goodies from a property that we gave to our daughter.
These Beaky Space Marines were amongst the treasure trove (Dave M this blog is for you).

The box contains 18 sprues. 15 Sprues with 2 Space Marines on each and 3 accessory sprues with assorted “goodies”.

The accessory sprue containes a flamer, heavy bolter, power fists, and bolt pistols. You will notice a number of closed fist arms. In the good old days Space Marines could just march up to an oppopnent and punch their lights out….. ahhh how times have changed.
The box has seen better days but is still intact and the retro artwork is a GW history lesson in its own right.

Alas these will probably end up on ebay as I haven’t played 40k in years and am unlikely to in the near future.

I’m with you on playing 40k, and I never really got into Space Marines; however, when the rules came out for an inquisitor based army…
I was in the process of building a radical Inquisitor Army and I wanted to use all beak-nosed Marines, painted up as Relectors as his force multiplier group. I scavaged through lots of old eBay lots to try and get as many of the old models as possible. Alas, I think I may have one small 5-man unit left in a box somewhere.
I truly wished for Kill Team to be a less cumbersome tabletop war game, but it isn’t, so GW games have been pushed back into the packing crates. Maybe they should just go on back on eBay??
I’m hearing ya.
This is gold. I would not lament this heading to Ebay- somebody is going to love still on the sprue beakies. Amazing.
Yeah I know but it is a bit like selling one of your favourite children…………………hmmmm OK. Depends on the price!!!
a thought only parents will understand
