This may sound like a battle set in the United States circa 1876, but it is far closer to home. This is about THE Plains War between Cowes on Phillip Island (Guru), and San Remo (Bucko), on the Australian Mainland.
Bucko, who is a regular butt of jokes in this blog, has shamed me into getting off my back side and getting my US 7th Cavalry (always did favour the baddies) completed.

Bucko’s work in progress – I will be overun if I don’t get my act together! (Compliments of Bucko)
I do have a secret up my sleeve and will give this a priority for painting (he says flourishing buckskin cape and yelling “Mwa Ha Ha”)!

Arms race? Nah they only have two each!

I do have two completed!

Work in progress

Da man!!!!

The odds are about even – I’ve watched Marion Robert Morrison in action.

Reinforcements in the pipeline.
Running away to relatives, Bucko! Stay and fight! I’ll have ya!
PS. Bucko, your Cheyenne are coming up great.
Nice I’ve always liked “Dixon’s” ACW range.
Cheers Roger.
Roger my previous post was incorrect. Most of the figures are from Artizan Miniatures.
Yep I do to. I especially like the grungy, lack of uniform of their 7th Cavalry figures. They will paint up welll.
