“Walking in the jungle, we’re not afraid”

It must be about five or six years ago now that Blake and I first started putting together 28mm armies for modern asymetrical games. As part of my insurgent army I bought this group of Eureka Miniatures African regular army figures to use as foreign mercenaries.

I liked them so much that after I had finished painting them I brought a platoon. Yeah right, liked them so much they have sat for five years in the container because of new “shiny” stuff!

Now they are all done (well almost see below)! Surprised Blake? The original “brick” is in front.

Senior Leader

Junior Leader (his twin brother).

3 Support Squads

Support Squad 1 with Heavy Machine Gun

Support Squad 2 with RPG

Support Squad 3 with Heavy Machine Gun

3 Normal Squads

I have built these 5 man squads to use as Tier 1 squads with integral support, or Tier 2 without.

Normal Squad (1) with RPG to replace standard infantryman if Tier 1

Normal Squad (2) with Heavy Machine Gun to replace standard infantryman if Tier 1

Normal Squad (3) with Heavy Machine Gun to replace standard infantryman if Tier 1

The Grey, Light Brow, Dark Brown and Black camo does not show up well in the photo

I am just waiting on the President for Life Hasira Kiboko, his son kidogo baba wa watu, and Kidogo’s mother, Kahawan Bila Maziwa from Matakishi’s Tea House to provide the final touch!
