There were almost fifty “chosen men” – I have twenty eight!
All those venerable old figures are coming along nicely Dave, you’ll soon be able to play the biggest Sharpe Practice skirmish around!
Biggest? Skirmish? Hmmmmm!
Mwha!Ha!Ha!Ha! Today Cowes, tomorrow………….?
“Venerable old figures” understates their priceless appeal as wargaming antiquities and a valuable link in the grand panorama of the hobbies history!
Am I full of it or what?
you playing 1st or 2nd edition of Sharpe Practice?
Second Edition but I have never used them. Want a game? Happy to travel to Heathcote or meet ion melbourne on a friday when you are returning.
we can make this happen; I have zero Napoleonic minis but do have a lovely La Haye Sainte farmhouse that is worth fighting over …
I will have French to fight the British done in about a week, but don’t have to play Napoleonics. I do have Finnish Bolt Action as well.
Great stuff mate! I am looking forward to one day painting some Rifles so that my favorite troops can have a worthy nemesis.
Wow mate My favorite guys! the highlight of our last trip to UK was a visit to their museum in Winchester! A work colleague asked what I thought of the cathedral window to which I replied sorry mate spent too long in the museum to fit that one in!!!
Fortunately we were able tot see it all over a few trips as we were staying with friends down the road. I think you received inspiration for your dioramas for the Waterloo one they have on display!!
