Mourning town

“Train whistle haunting makes an eerie noise;
Into their hideouts go all the gals and boyz;

Shuffling, biting, gnawing trying to keep at bay;
All bound for Mourning town several fights away.”

The Zombie “Seekers”

Something strange was going on at the “Gotham Grease and Gunk” railway siding. All the passengers seemed to be turning into zombies. When the Police arrived, you guessed it, they also turned into zombies……whodda guessed?

This was prime scavenger Real Estate for the Mystery Inc, Kelsall Gang and the ZWAT (Zombie Weapons And Tactics) teams and this was threatening their survival.

They agreed to band together to destroy the red mail box (be in sole possession of the railway station at the end of any turn) which was the source of infection.

As well as the normal number of zombies being attracted by noise each turn, five new zombie passengers would arrive at the station during each menace phase.

Shaggy stayed towards the rear of the group trying to lure the zombies away and allow the maximum number of survivors to concentrate on clearing the station. This didn’t stop him for taking a few down through long range pistol fire, but alas he would be unable to use his favourite fire axe this game.

As Scooby was also trying to lure zombies away from the station (in the menace phase they shamble towards the nearest survivor they can see) his barking made a further Zombie arrive from the table edge and attack him.

Shaggy luring zombies away from the main action.

Shooting and close combatat the front of the siding. (Green dice are noise markers and red dice ammo markers).

Scooby deals with the zombie that dared to attack him and lures 11 zombies away chasing him towards the table edge. Good dog, here’s a scooby treat!

Jeanie and Daphne clear off the last zombies on the station (with a little help from the high powered rifles of Mr E., and Donovan Rocker.

The rear of ther station cleared for the momemnt but more zombie passengers are arriving.

The Police in discussion (gnaw, gnaw, bite, bite) with members of the Kelsall gang.

Mahem at the end when the zombie (oops Royal) mail box is destroyed. A near run thing as ten more zombies would have been on the station at the start of the next turn.

Don’t ya just luv hittin’ em in da head!!
