I have a reasonably large collection of Hero-clix miniatures. Not because I play the game I don’t, but because they are often the only source of some figures. They are cheap with most being less than A$1.00 including postage and some like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are well sculptured and well painted. Others, however, are not so good, you need to pick and choose. I remove them from their Hero-clix “dial” bases and mount them on suitably sculptured urban bases to match my other figures.

Big Tony Delfini

Big Tony Delfini is a tenant and friend of Harley Quinn when she returned to Coney Island. He is a little person who works in the freakshow that’s also in the building, and is dating his coworker Queenie. His name is a joking reference to his stature, not a reference to his position in New York City’s underworld.

General Traag

General Traag appear in the 1987 Animated series of TMNT’s, and is the commander of the Rock Soldiers from Dimension X , fanatically loyal in his servitude to the powerful alien warlord/dictator Krang.

Katana ( Tatsu Yamashiro )

Wielder of the fearsome Soultaker Sword, Tatsu Yamashiro escaped a tragic past to fight alongside the Outsiders and the Suicide Squad.

While there are many great warriors in the DC Universe, there is simply no one more proficient with a sword than the hero known as Katana. Born in Japan and trained in the ways of the Samurai, Tatsu Yamashiro had a wonderful life, a loving husband and two wonderful children. Sadly, one fateful night, it was all taken away from her when a jealous suitor she once spurned murdered her entire family. Seeking revenge, she took possession of the mystical Soultaker Sword, a legendary blade that housed the spirts of those who lost their lives to it, including Tatsu’s husband.

Calling herself Katana, named after the sword she now wielded, Tatsu embarked on a mission to bring to justice those who had harmed the innocent. First finding a home under the guidance of the Batman as a part of his team the Outsiders, Katana eventually served as a part of the Suicide Squad, and later, became a member of the Birds of Prey as well the Justice League of America. Forever marked by the tragedy that created her, Katana is one of the most formidable superheroes in the DC Universe and a living weapon of justice that all evildoers should fear.

Lex Luthor has a conniving and Machiavellian personality. He is calm, soft-spoken, and unfailingly polite, thus manipulating unwitting people into getting his way. His soft-spoken nature and charm places him in a positive light to the public. Despite his resplendent appearance to the public, behind the scenes, his goals are almost always motivated by profit. This amoral desire to maximize profits has typically put him on the wrong side of superheroes.

Lex Luthor is tall and appears to be in good shape, being moderately built. He is bald, and has green eyes and high cheekbones.

Luthor is the CEO of LexCorp, a sizable conglomerate based in Metropolis, as well as a founding member of the Light. Behind the facade of honest business, Luthor also organized black market arms trades and other shady deals.

Barbara Gordon

Barbara Gordon was the daughter of Gotham City Police Commissioner, James Gordon. She took on the mantle of Batgirl, Batman’s partner and protegé for many years. Later in life, Barbara followed in her father’s footsteps by becoming the Commissioner of the Gotham Police Department herself.

Batgirl

Barbara took after her father, James Gordon. Like him, Barbara was a skilled crime fighter dedicated to wiping out Gotham City’s lawbreakers; but not necessarily as a police officer. When Commissioner Gordon was framed by the notorious villain Two-Face, Barbara donned a Bat-costume in an attempt to get him released from jail. Robin ripped the cowl from the back when he tried to stop her from running away from him. Whether they liked it or not, Batman and Robin soon realized that they have a new redheaded ally in the form of Batgirl. She gave subtle hints towards her identity at the time, but they would fail to reach the ears of the two.

I don’t need to say much about this guy other than he is Batman’s side-kick.

Marvel Character “Stick”

At a young age, Stick was imprisoned for ten years for an unknown crime. There, he was trained by the Chaste and despite his blindness, he was able to overcome his disability to become a powerful and dangerous warrior. Later in his life, Stick was dedicated to fighting in a centuries old war against the Hand, focusing much of his efforts on recruiting and training new soldiers into the Chaste’s army.

Dr. Leslie Thompkins

Leslie is portrayed as having been a close friend of Thomas Wayne and ran a clinic for criminals and drug addicts in Gotham City. She took it upon herself to look after Wayne’s son, Bruce, after the boy’s parents were killed, often acting with the family butler, Alfred Pennyworth, as a parental figure and guardian, although other sources have her as a woman who comforted Bruce immediately after his parents’ deaths. During that time, Leslie was concerned with Bruce’s behavior as he grew increasingly antisocial. She was even more perturbed when she discovered that, in his adult years, Bruce spent his nights fighting the criminal elements of Gotham as the Batman.

Leslie disapproves of Bruce’s vigilantism, and feels partly responsible for his transformation into Batman, fearing that somehow she failed him as a role model. Bruce has, though, admitted to feeling guilty for being unable to live up to her pacifist example. She also has been linked to Alfred romantically on more than one occasion.

El Gaucho

Once an Argentinian secret agent working for Spyral, Don Santiago retired to his millionaire lifestyle but quickly became bored and depressed by a life without adventure. However upon hearing about Batman’s activities in Gotham, Santiago was inspired to become the hero of Argentina and took up the title of El Gaucho. He has since became a good friend and ally of Batman, though their shared history with one Kathy Kane (Bat Woman) has caused tension between the two heroes. Little is known of the Gaucho’s activities.

I can see a scenario coming on where El Gaucho and Batman are both trying to rescue Bat Woman, and win her affections of course, from the dastardly “clutches” of Mr Freeze who is trying to find a replacement for Nora Fries. Bolas and Batarangs battling it out against blocks of ice here we come!

Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel

Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel was a psychiatric intern at Arkham Asylum. A model student, in addition to receiving high grades in college, she was also a dedicated gymnast, winning a scholarship to Gotham City University. While researching the lunatics at Arkham, she became fascinated with one particular inmate. Ambitiously volunteering to analyze him, she pleaded with the doctors at Arkham for three months before she could treat him. After he gained her sympathy during their sessions, he seduced her, causing her to fall madly in love with him. After helping him escape from the asylum more than once, Harleen was suspected by the authorities, who revoked her license and placed her in her own cell. During an earthquake in Gotham City, she fled and became Harley Quinn, the sidekick of the Clown Prince of Crime himself.

Edward Nigma

Edward Nigma discovered puzzles when he was a young boy, and he gradually incorporated them into his criminal career. GThere is a suggestion that his father physically abused him, which left him with a compulsion to tell the truth materializing through the telling of riddles, as well as a desire to prove his superiority by outwitting everyone around him.

Sheriff Steve Rogers

Sheriff Steve Rogers appears in Marvel Universe Earth-51920. Not an aficionado so not sure if there is any link between him and the Steve Rogers that was later to become Captain America. Happy to receive help from those who may be more knowledgeable than me on this one.
