I went to Chris’ place today to pick up the Halo “Covenant” figures that he had printed off for me. I am really please with how they have come out. All I have to do now is work out how I will paint them.
I have undercoated them and black washed them so I can see the detail for painting.
The Covenant Empire were a theocratic hegemony made up of multiple alien species that maintained control over a large proportion of the galaxy. The Covenant was a political, military, and religious affiliation, originally a mutual alliance following a brutal conflict between two warring races. Its expansion to include at least six other races united in the worship of the Forerunners.
I still have the prophet on his floating chair to put together for painting.

Really nice looking figures, and strangely a week ago i would have had no idea what they were supposed to be, but I actually watched the “Halo” series pilot on the telly the other night, so now I do! 😁

Nice work on these. Halo’s lore never really appealed to me but the models certainly have come up nicely! 🙂
I was never into the game. But has enjoyed the Paramount series which interested me in the figures! Not sure what I will use them for but they have a “coolness” about them.
