Today’s post is a group of figures that have been hanging around on the painting table for some time. Some will be very useful others not so.

First there are two British Army World War 2 Vampire Slayers! Everyone knows that vampires had been leading the major German assaults in the blitzkrieg and now they are likely to spearhead the invasion of Britain. These trusty souls will be at the forefront of Britain’s defence against these abominations. One is from Warlords and the other from Crooked Dice.

Sergeant with stake.

Officer with holy relic.
Next there is cookie a 25mm Dixon figure – I think! For some reason this figure escaped being painted when I finished off my wild west civilians some time ago.

Two more Old Glory COUR De Bois that also missed being painted way back in July 2020

Next there is an oversized Eureka Miniatures Colonel British Officer that I will put with my Phantom Jungle Patrol

I am not sure what this model is or where it came from. Could be a golem, ghost who knows? I am going to use it as “the invisible man”, or just leave it on the shelf collecting dust!

Lastly is a Eureka Miniatures Conquistador Priest for use in Silver bayonet games. I have a handful of Conquistadors that I will paint up some time to hunt down those Spanish Vampires heading up the Inquisition, but we shouldn’t “stalk a martyr” should we!

Very nice- I like the Priest.
Cheers,
Pete.
Yep. A great model. Love the hat and pose.
A very eclectic mix Dave, with some great work on them.
Thanks Dave.
nice models there; as always Eureka delivers some very impressive miniatures.
THey had some great stuff at their NWA stand on the weekend, but I resisted!
Very nice stuff mate, as for the “ghost/invisible man”, perhaps he’s one of the “Phantoms” ancestors?
Cheers Roger.
Bugger. Should have painted him purple!
Nice range of nice minis there Dave! 🙂
Thanks John. It is funny how we collect such weird sh#t!
I reckon Britain could use those vampire hunters now to slay what passes for its current government! Look out for the upcoming movie blockbuster “Dad’s Army – Vampire Hunters”.
I agree without them the poms maybe stuck with their current leadership for another five to six hundred years! The advantage is we will only see them if we stay up late at night!
That’s quite a nice set of “finishing off” models for sure. My favs of the bunch are the WWII Brits!
The objective is to get them up against some of the Vampires and Germans in the near future.
