What’s currently on the painting table

I have posted this just to give you an idea of what my “immediate” painting plans are. I say “immediate” with inverted commas, because, as most of you who read this are gamers you know what that really means! Things will undoubtedly change with some being added and others dropping off. Some on the list in this post are not likely to survive much beyond me writing this.

Below are just some quick snaps to give you an idea.

Some pumpkin-headed scarecrows from Westwind for Silver Bayonet but brought forward to coincide with Halloween.

A wolf and three dogs which are not urgent and are likely to go back in a box.

Some all purpose Mantic ghouls.

1st Corps Home Guard just needing webbing and rifles completed.

Zombicide figures with very little done since last time.

Russian Silver Bayonet figures.

A huge assortment with some cultists, Guru Pig, a FIW figure and a Black Tree Dr Who “Unit” Major just requiring basing. There are also some Ghostbusters ghosts that will go back in the box.

3 Assorted aliens (the rest are completed and awaiting posting).

Warlord Games German spies dressed as Nuns.

Crooked Dice Lizard German soldiers. Shades of the 1983 to 1985 series “V”!

Crooked Dice Human German soldiers

Miniporium lumberjack.

Miniporium female survivors.

Closer view of the cultists. A mixture of Mantic, Crooked Dice, and Eureka Miniatures.

Dixon Union ACW Zuaves.

Dixon Confederate ACW.

Artizan Plains Indians.

I also have Werewolves, Aliens, Robin Hood, Flintloque Sanna Annie, and more Yeti scheduled for posting which you will see in the next few days.

I hope that gives you and idea of what i am up to and hopefully some inspiration for your own endeavours.

  1. Hi Pete,
I generally use Tamiya TS3 for most of my undercoating. If there is a lot of metal I will undercoat with a cheap flat black and if I want a really bright cartoon look I will use a cheap flat white.

I find the TS3 just requires a a brown or black wash and then some highlighting if you need a really quick finish.
