Another Light Bulb Moment

Back in September I posted on how I made a graveyard out of left over mdf bits and pieces from other kits. On Sunday I was putting together some mdf 6mm kits for Wiley Games Battle Suit Alpha and Battlemech style game. The kits were from the Battlefield Accessories 6mm range. I have nine of each of these buildings.

when I started putting them together I found a lot of useful bits left over in the remaining sprues.

Firstly I noted the crenelations left from the corner joins of each of the walls.

These looked very much like fortified walls.

The door punch out looked like a gateway in that fortified wall. So low and behold I ended up with six of these:

These will look great with the some of these desert building inside the walls that I have already posted on back in September:

Just as soon as I finished using these bits I found some more:

Bits of rubbish – not on your nelly! What I saw was this masterpiece:

With all of these scraps I have ended up with another 12 buildings to use without paying an extra cent!

So before you throw this out have a real good look at what you can use it for.

The same probably goes for 3D printer supports but this Luddite has no experience of this.

I will show you the finished results probably in ten years time!
