I finally finished the watchtower for tonight’s men Who Would Be Kings Game. Time prevented a more elaborate creation but in the end all I was after was a watchtower not another fort. It compares well with the Airfix Desert Fort ion size so in the end it has worked out OK.

Thanks John, just a few walls added to the old Airfix kits tower and a lot of cleaning up as there was glue all over it.

Nicely done! The texture adds a lot to the walls. I had some smooth plastic terrain somewhere that never looked right to me, now I at least have an idea for it!
The texture is simple – brush on PVA glue, I did a wall at a time and then sprinkle on fine sand and your done. Then move on to the next wall and repeat. A simple but effective process.
I have to agree with the boys mate! well done, it is a long time since I saw that old Airfix one.
