Australian 2/7th Field Artillery Troop Gun 4

The 4th and final gun in the troop

Below is the full 2/7th artillery in action.

You may have noticed the spotter in the centre fore-ground. The Bolt Action on;y allows one spotter for the troop, however all guns, wherever they are positioned on the table, can all use him.

  1. They look great all together.
So you can have that many on table guns in Bolt Action?
That’s a lot of firepower. I thought it was a platoon game, or do you play some sort of “Big” Bolt Action?

    • This is an Artillery troop (platoon). The list is a British Mid/Late-War Royal Artillery Gun Troop from the
D-Day: British & Canadian Sectors Campaign book. The answer is yes you can have that many guns!
When finished the total troop will be only 1370 Bolt Action points so it will only be slightly larger than the normal sized game of 1200 points.

    • There are several similar lists. The machine gun platoon is one, as is the mortar platoon which I am just about to start. I have also finished an Australian Tank Attack (anti-tank) platoon and a Tank Platoon. The latter being available in The New Guinea Campaign book. The others are only slight variations of their British list found in the British D-day campaign book. I intend to do a post on all of this when I have finished the Mortar Support platoon.
