Finally finished putting the “stuff” on the bases for our jungle game.

I ended up with just enough plastic to make 100 bases.

This was four short of my goal of covering my 7’X4′ table with new jungle terrain.

I of course already have over 50 bases so I really should not quibble. The obsession comes from having a 40k love affair with the Catachan Jungle Fighters.

I used to love playing them with the Codex Catachan where they could actual fight!

The Jungle Terrain Generator used to create lots of laughter as your opponent’s models were eaten by an over-sized Venus Fly Trap!

I plan on painting the edges and flocking them 6 bases at a time. I will try and do one lot a day to fin ish them off by the end of March.

Back to a different sort of jungle fighters tomorrow.
PS Update: I found enough scraps on the floor and the workbench to make the total up to 104!
Looks like a banana tree plantation with them all line-up! 😉
“Come, mister tally man, tally me banana”, “Day-O”, “Day O”
That is a really impressive amount of terrain. That old Codex is one of the best ones though.
Cheers,
Pete.
I agree one of those rare GW Codices that really captured the flavour, and gave Impy guard a chance, without going OTT.
A serious amount of jungle Dave, from experience remember where your models are, a unit of snipers spent the whole game so well camouflaged they never got of a single shot ! LOL
Fog of war!
Haha, we had that happen in a Heroclix game when I placed a mini inside a building. Only to remember as I started to break down things and put them away! 😂
Fog of War in Heroclix is different isn’t it? I thought the lawyer Franklin Percy Nelson was called “Foggy”!
