Preparation …..YES. Painting………….Nope!

Today was one of those painting days where you start preparing new figures for painting and then suddenly the day is gone with nothing painted. Oh well a necessary evil a bit like me really!

Well I guess that is half right……………..Mwahahaha!

I decided to work on assembling and undercoating the rest of the Japanese, minus a mounted general and two squads of ten cavalrymen.

You can see that I did get some painting done – the flesh on the medium mortar crews!

I put these K47 German Heavy Infantry together at the same time because they are basically the same colours.

To me though, they do not look like Weird War Germans – not gothic at all. So I have decided to paint them like the four Global Games Legions of Steel Heavy Assault Troopers that I posted on back in January.

What’s on the table at the moment.

Japanese almost finished.

Two other units well on the way.

There are of course some old favourites that have become permanent decorations on the painting table.

I always have a few units that get some paint on them only when I am using the appropriate colour on my main focus. here are some Dr Who Ogres.

Some Midlam Nuns

Mark’s Mark 1, a motor cycle combo for my IRA, and some Mexican bandits for Ruthless. These will be done in due course.

Ah well there goes another day in the life of Guru!

  1. You’ve got a lot to go at there.
Not as much fun as painting, I dislike prep too, but look at all the painting you can do now, without having to worry about prep!!
