I was looking for a large figure that I could use for my rodent army. Although from the genus Rattus, the Rataclysm is hardly your stereotypical rat. The figure is from the Animal Adventures Rat King of Gullet Cove boxed set.

I first undercoated the model with a Tamiya TS80 rattle can,

Next I slapped on some Army Painter “dark tone”

This was followed by a dry brushing of Rotting Flesh

Another wash this time GW Agrax Earthshade.

Dry brushing the fur areas with GW Skrag brown

A light dry brushing with white taking particular attention to the spine protrusions and the claws

A liberal wash of Nurgle Green over all of the flesh areas

The eye sockets and broken manacles are painted in matt black and dry brushing ofd white on the forgotten toe claws

Eyes painted yellow and gold on the manacles which were latter washed with Army Painter light tone.
