A change from previous posts with this AFV being 28mm for my British Commandos

The 28mm WW2 Crusader AA Mk III, a formidable British anti-aircraft tank utilized during World War II, served as a robust asset on the battlefield. Equipped with a 20 mm Polsten autocannon and a Bofors 40 mm gun, it not only provided essential protection for ground troops against air attacks but also significantly boosted the morale of the allied forces.

The model above is a 3D print available from Dark Castle Terrain. I can thoroughly recommend there range and service and Callum is always excellent to deal with. Dark Castle’s 3D prints are detailed with no flashing to remove.
I have added a crew member from the “bits box”.

Its impact was particularly evident during key battles in North Africa and Italy, where the Crusader AA Mk III played a pivotal role in safeguarding troops from enemy air strikes. The tank’s exceptional capability to promptly address aerial threats made it a decisive factor on the battlefield, earning the deep respect and appreciation of the troops under its protection.

Tomorrow back to 20mm.
