The basics on both pieces of scenery are complete ready for an undercoat.

Skull cave filled in and waiting for things to dry overnight for undercoating.

I was able to make some scraggy hills out of the left overs.

Skull mountain with its contour hills.

The second skull was used for the mountain.

Filling is just kleenex tissues and PVA glue smoothed out.

Lots of off-cuts left over.

Tomorrow I hope to get the first undercoat/sealer on but may need to put a poly filler over the tissue/glue filler before I can un defcout. Depends if it dries hard or shrinks overnight..
Great looking progress Dave, once started your flying through it now
As you know most of the work in these projects is not the doing but the planning and the finishing touches. I had worked out exactly what I was doing and had marked out the foam board with the cuts so today was just using the foam cutter and gluing things together. The real work will begin after the undercoating.
Very nice start mate.
Cheers Roger.
Thanks Roger

Thanks Pete. I was pleased with the afternoons work!
